Some sign of strong support from the big G would be nice, though. Integration with GTalk, GMail, iGoogle, etc. An Android app is a given, I assume, but I would like to see it sooner rather than later.
Something like that. Android should be Jaiku+GrandCentral+GTalk+GMail and thus give me a handheld and integrated way to stay connected and in the know about where the people I care about are and what they have been up to lately. The vision is glorious. I am hoping that G is hellbent on delivering on the promise of this combination.
@abdiel I'd love to see it happen, I think the steam has been lost for now, but I have a feeling it'll be back soon! I'm with you, in hoping all of this!

You can already use the IM bot with GTalk, and as such save your conversations for easy searching within GMail ;)
